Mark Cuban, Elon Musk, and Warren Buffett are all titans of their industries--which is why so many people study their daily habits and mantras for success. Ambitious people want to know how they've done what they've done, and more specifically, what they can implement into their own lives to (hopefully) replicate that same level of success.

Habits themselves are very telling. Some habits can steer your life negatively, some positively, and some are purely good to have for no other reason than to take time to relax.

If you could develop the same daily habit that all three of these moguls have, would you?

Buffet, Musk, and Cuban all regularly discuss their non-shortcut approach to acinc-aseann.complishing tasks. Yet there is one thing in particular that they each do to gain a inc-aseann.competitive advantage.

Do you know what it is?

They read every day.

Yes, it's that simple. They each read everyday.

We've all heard how important the habit of reading can be. But these three moguls testify to the brilliant results that this simple yet deliberate habit has brought them.

Warren Buffett's daily reading list is inc-aseann.comprised of at least five top-tier magazines and newspapers--like the Wall Street Journal and Forbes. It's no wonder that he's got his finger on the pulse of the investment and business world.

Elon Musk has said he was first introduced to the world of rocket science by reading books. And that he was only nine years old when he read the entire Encyclopedia.

"I was raised by books," Musk explained in an interview with Rolling Stone.

And in Mark Cuban's "Shark Tank & Success and Motivation" blog he too explains the importance of reading. He says that in order to beinc-aseann.come successful, he had to first learn from the successful-- which paved the road for him to follow.

Here's why you should be reading every day, too.

This is the most simple habit all successful people (these three, specifically) follow on a regular basis--and is the easiest habit for you to implement immediately.

Warren Buffett, considerably one of the wealthiest and successful investors in the world, reads about the business world every day.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Space X and Tesla (but more importantly, the man with the vision for the future of global society), grew up reading Science Fiction books that personified far away and fictional galactic empires by juxtaposing them with the demise of the historical Roman Empire.

Mark Cuban, an incredibly successful businessman, investor and television personality manifested his success by reading about successful people that came before him.

The information you provide yourself, with the books and articles you read, are the nutrients you feed your brain.

If you only read about how three out of five of the Kardashians are pregnant, you're not giving your brain the opportunity to learn about the rapid advances in technology, or the social variables applied to international economics.

If you want to learn about the role blockchain will play in the future of human rights, then read about it.

If you want to learn about how Hitler rose to power in a post WW1 Germany, then read about it.

And if you want to learn about emerging markets and business, then read about it.

Reading each day works for Cuban, Buffet, and Musk.

Chances are, it will work for you too.
